The Farm

Wish I could have stayed longer to get more pictures, but had to rush off to catch a flight.

I loved the thatched roofs of all of the buildings.  Definitely not snow-bearing!

Anthony

Anthony is the house cat of the owners of The Farm where I stayed over in Pretoria before heading to Cape Town.  The owners are licensed as breeders and raised him in their house as their pet.  (Yes, he lies on the sofa as if he owns it!)  He is so sweet, smells very clean, his coat his coarse, he purred for me when I stroked him, and I so wish I had had more time with him.  Christine said that Anthony rolls around in the grass hugging her youngest son, Laurens.  Imagine!  :)

Getting caught up

I am alive and well!  A dead cell phone battery when landing In J-burg, lack of wireless when battery was alive, and constant touring have kept me from posting.  I apologize!  I hope to get caught up as we go.

On the first night after landing I went to sleep in Pretoria listening to the lions roaring and drinking in the intoxicating sweet smell of jasmine... and awoke to meet a cheetah named Anthony.  He was so sweet!
