Sea Kayaking in Plettenberg Bay

Oh, my!  Christine and I took an early morning sea kayaking tour in Plettenberg Bay.  Cxx and her husband, Hugo, own their own kayak... and now I know why.  It is so much fun!  The key is learning to read the waves and water.  Christine did this so well that we didn't spill... and the guide was impressed.  Go, Christine!  I told Brady that if we lived by the ocean, we would have to take this up as a hobby.  Delightful!

  1. Hi Friend! I forgot to tell you before we took on the waves how many times Hugo and I spilled (more than I can count!) He calls it "The Eskimo Roll" only the heaens know why! And I must confess : every time I felt like hitting him with the oars!!! Grateful our friendship were not tested that day :-)

    1. A spill would not have tested our friendship... I promise! Brady was disappointed we didn't do the "Eskimo Roll"... maybe we can do it the next time we head out. Or better yet... we can watch Brady and Hugo demonstrate it for us! :)

  2. Dear Brave Brady Bigmouth, herewith a personal invitation for you to come. But to qualify for a kayak trip, you must first come and dive with the with the great white sharks like your wife did to proof you are not a sissy, as Africa is not for sissies :-)
